Atrium Obscurum Presents "Invisible Cities"
Join us to dance, to play, to share stories of our travels to lands far & wide, and to bring new landscapes to life. Your experiences and travels through life have assisted in shaping your landscape. Bringing forth a myriad of different thoughts, perceptions, modes of being, and so much more. The simple act of sharing these with another has the ability to shift worlds and to sprout new life, new growth. During this weekend we have the chance to share through music, art, dance, and so many other ways.
The location of the city:
Your experience will take place at Armadillo
Acres in Hughes Springs, TX. AA offers lush greens, thick
wooded areas, as well as native plants and creatures. There's an abundant
amount of room for camping, over 200 acres of land to explore, as well
as quick access to grocery and hardware stores. Armadillo Acres is what
you might call primitive camping. There are no electrical outlets, built
in grills, or any showers. Please plan accordingly. Visit their website

Located 10 minutes driving distance from the venue is Daingerfield State Park. This park has a man-made lake for swimming. Entry to the park is $3/per adult.

S PECAN AND Co Rd 2990 are the SAME road.
That then turns into Co Rd 2986
when you cross over FARM TO MARKET 2612.
FOLLOW Co Rd 2986 untill
it MERGES with Co Rd 2984, WHERE YOU VEER LEFT.
IT'S REALLY A STRAIGHT SHOT TO Co Rd 2984
WITH ALLOT OF NAME CHANGES
THE ENTRANCE WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT ABOUT HALF A MILE AFTER MERGE.
The lay and law of the city:
Armadillo Acres is what you might call primitive camping. There aren’t any electrical outlets, built-in grills, or showers – although there might be by June. Please plan accordingly.
This is a 100% Leave No Trace gathering. Please pack out what you pack
in, and be proactive towards keeping your campsite clean. For more info

If you are a smoker then please deposit your butts in a reusable tin or
your back pocket. No fires are allowed unless you are using a burn barrel
which is available upon request.
What you need for the weekend:
Food
Water – at LEAST 2 gallon per person, per day
A reusable cup from home for community water
Trash bags
Toilet paper
Paper towels/wet wipes/toilet paper
First aid kit
Change of shoes and socks
Swim trunks and towel
Extra cash for food/vending
Costumes
Hula hoops/Poi
Tent/blankets/pillows/air mattress/chairs
Flashlight(s)
Batteries
Canopy or tarp to cover your tent – keeps it cooler in the sun
& dry if it rains
To gain access to the city...
Ages:
18+ with valid photo ID
Under 18 only allowed when accompanied by a legal guardian, and we do mean accompanied. Phone-in or written permission is not sufficient.
Cost:
$30 - for all weekend
$20 - for Saturday only
CASH ONLY!
City gate access:
The front gate will open be open on Friday from 12PM(noon) – 2AM. Saturday the gate will be open from 12PM-12AM. DO NOT, and we stress, DO NOT show up after gate hours. The main gate will be locked, and no one will be present to let you in until possibly noon.
Ins/Outs will be allowed only Saturday during the hours of 12PM-7PM. If you return after 7PM you will be charged a $10 fee per person to re-gain entry, so be sure to be back by 7PM :D
